4moms responded to my review by stating is was compatible with older models. I'd like to point out compatible does not mean safe. It just means it fits. It is very unsettling that you can't attach the insert at the head and I don't feel comfortable using the swing without an insert. So now we are 0 for 2.

It says it's compatible with older models, however, I don't think it's really all that safe with an older model (1026). You can't secure the head at all.

Insert fits swing great and improves fit for our twin babies but they are still too small at 6lbs. Will try again as they grow

Fits and is pretty but baby didn't like the mamaroo

This has been a game changer with our new baby. She loves it. She loves it when she's alert and listens to music while she moves around, and she loves to nap in it. It's very soothing.

Bought this to complement the sage green Mamaroo I bought for a baby shower in January for my niece. As soon as they got it the put it together as first time parents.

Currently still pretty but I love the color and I'm so excited to use it when baby arrives

I got the 4moms through a friend of mine and she couldn't find the insert, I thought our baby would be fine without it, but I was definitely wrong. This helps him keep his head in place and his body more comfortable. If you think this is just some cute accessory, it's much more.
